| Summary | 0000060: Upgrade does not properly "upgrade" through various versions. | |||||||||||
| Description |
The current code takes in a specific upgrade file (say upgrade/3.5.1.sql) and simply executes this on the database, it does not execute any versions prior. The installation software needs to be able to detect what version the software is currently and then run ALL SQL's between that version and the upgraded to version. ALSO each software package should have only one available option for upgrade...in other words the 3.5.1 version should now allow you to select "Upgrade to 3.2.1", it should know you are on version X and upgrade you to the new version. The dropdown box should only contain "Install" and "Upgrade" as options, no need for upgrade to. |
